Aerial was born on September 22,
2009. She was my very first show dog and we had to learn a
lot together. At first she didn't seem to like showing much,
so we switched to American Kennel Club (AKC) Rally Obedience, where
she quickly earned her Rally Novice (RN) and Rally Advanced (RA)
titles. After a break from rally due to other commitments in
my personal life, Aerial finished her Rally Excellent (RE) in early
2014. We switched to the less formal show environment of the
United Kennel Club (UKC) where Aerial became my first UKC
Conformation Champion (CCH) in May 2014, my first UKC Conformation
Grand Champion (CGRCH) in July 2014, and finished as the #2 beagle
in UKC for 2014, tied with her daughter Lexi and behind my other
beagle, Huda. In 2015 she re-entered the AKC conformation
ring with new confidence and poise, quickly earning her AKC CH and
GCH titles. Other conformation achievements include two UKC
Best In Shows, a UKC Reserve Best In Show, an IABCA Gold Cup Best
In Show, and an IABCA Best Veteran In Show.
Aside from Rally-Obedience and
conformation, Aerial has demonstrated her versatility and talent in
several other performance events. She has titles in AKC
Rally, Agility, Coursing Ability, Scentwork, and Barn Hunt as well
as her UKC Rally 1 (URO1) title and her Novice Working Pack Dog
title from the Greater Swiss Mountain Club of America. She
was the first beagle in the country to earn her Barn Hunt Champion
Excellent (RATCHX) title. In all Aerial has earned 30 titles
in 7 different disciplines, 4 registries, and 2 countries, and she
is still going strong!
